A central goal of my research program is to translate scientific discovery into measurable improvements in health outcomes for women and children. I continue to be actively involved in several large international clinical trials (MACS, MACS5 and SNACS) focussed on use of antenatal corticosteroids in cases of preterm birth. I lead the Ontario Birth Study (ontariobirthstudy.com) that follows pregnant individuals and their children from early pregnancy to 5 years of age. I also currently lead a major preconception intervention study in Southern India as part of the Healthy Life Trajectories Initiative (HeLTI).
