Publication title: Invited review: guinea pig models for translation of DOHaD into the clinic

Congratulations to Bona Kim, Aya Sasaki, and Professor Matthews on the acceptance of their manuscript. The citation for this article can be found on the “Publications” page of the website, under the tab titled “The Lab.” Alternatively, the article can also be accessed here

This review highlights the strengths and limitations of the guinea pig model in research on the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD). Due to the similarities between guinea pigs and humans in their development in utero, the authors support the use of guinea pig models for DOHaD and translational research.
